My journey into art began almost before I could walk; I've been drawing since I was three years old. My commitment was cemented early, culminating in the completion of formal art instruction school in Minneapolis, MN, by the age of eleven. It’s a running family joke that art was the only subject I truly aced-thankfully, it was enough!
Today, my biggest fans are my two incredible daughters, Emma and Gabby. However, every single piece of my work must first pass the critical eye of my mother, Francine, ensuring perfection before it leaves the studio. While my family provided the foundation, it was my sister, Carolyn, who first saw the potential for something greater.
For nearly a decade, Carolyn has been the inspirational business head behind my work. She was the first to believe that my talent could-and should-be a lucrative business. My family's unwavering belief in me is what finally pushed me to share my passion with the wider world.
Because of that lifelong support and formal instruction, I’ve arrived at an important truth: there is nothing I can’t create. This assurance fuels The Artist’s Attic, where every custom project, whimsical piece, or heirloom idea is welcomed.
